Laboratory Technician – ISO/IEC 17025 Management

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will manage and maintain the ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system while overseeing daily operations in our Singapore testing facility. The role ensures accurate chemical testing, timely sample processing, and proper equipment calibration to support high‑quality services for our regional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, updating procedures, work instructions, test methods and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate daily laboratory activities, monitor testing lead times, log incoming samples and schedule equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Prepare raw data, generate test results and produce clear reports for clients.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff in chemical testing techniques, control testing and equipment calibration.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, safety standards and equipment functionality.
• Perform routine chemical testing and sample preparation according to established protocols.
• Assist in developing and validating new testing methods to expand laboratory capabilities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Commitment to safety, integrity and continuous improvement.
