LCL Operational Care Specialist – Sea Logistics (Export)

About the role

As a member of Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, you will ensure operational excellence for less‑than‑container load (LCL) shipments in the export lane. You will coordinate transport activities, work closely with customer‑care specialists and manage data to deliver accurate, timely and cost‑effective logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and complete shipment details in transport management systems, aligning with customer obligations.
• Maintain high data quality for reliable reporting and compliance.
• Review shipping instructions, resolve deviations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Update costs and revenues promptly to maximise profit and provide cost awareness.
• Optimise LCL shipments, monitor cargo status and ensure correct cost distribution.
• Support claims and dispute resolution in collaboration with customer‑care teams.
• Analyse service delivery against SLAs, identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, specifically sea logistics and LCL operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proven track record of delivering accurate, timely solutions.
