Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Lead DevOps Engineer at NinjaOne, you will be a key member of the global Platform Engineering organization, working closely with the US‑based team to support production software deployments and drive the evolution of our deployment platform. Based in Singapore, the role is hybrid and combines hands‑on technical leadership with strategic platform modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute production deployments, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime and predictable releases.
• Share ownership of deployment operations with the US Platform Engineering team to provide 24/7 global coverage.
• Develop and maintain deployment standards, rollback procedures, release readiness checklists and operational playbooks.
• Lead post‑release reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase reliability and reduce risk.
• Design and implement automated deployment solutions, reusable frameworks and self‑service capabilities.
• Drive CI/CD modernization using CircleCI and related technologies.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive operational work through automation.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex releases and emergency deployments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading DevOps or Platform Engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with Software Engineering, SRE, QA, Product Management, Release Management and Security teams.
• Ability to operate in a hybrid Singapore location and provide global coverage across time zones.
• Hands‑on technical leadership mindset with a focus on reliability and automation.
