Lead Product Manager, Data Platform (Measurement & BI)

About the role

Grab is looking for an experienced Data Product Manager to lead its Measurement & BI team, which owns the metrics platform and tools used by analytics teams, data scientists, Finance and FP&A, and increasingly by non-experts via data agents. The role is an individual contributor position based onsite at Grab's headquarters in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Product, Data and AI Platforms. It is a high-leverage role at an inflection point: after years of scaling the metrics platform, the goal is to reach a stage where anyone at Grab, or an AI agent, can measure a feature, campaign or market.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the product strategy for the charter within Grab's broader data strategy.
• Deep-dive into key problem spaces, focus on users and design against the feasibility of the tech stack.
• Set the line between platform and application for agentic BI and move Grab's reporting onto governed metrics and semantic models.
• Build openly with users, use the data agents as a power user, and ship merge requests.
• Be accountable for user metrics (adoption, engagement, task success) of platforms within the charter.
• Prioritize and oversee product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery through execution to launch.
• Represent the customer's voice with engineering and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of hands-on technical product management experience, including at least 2 years managing data or AI platforms.
• Experience building or running a metrics layer, semantic layer or BI platform, in-house or on tools such as dbt Semantic Layer, Cube or LookML.
• Ability to reason about how a metric moves from the lakehouse through engines such as Trino, StarRocks or Pinot, and to challenge engineering designs on feasibility and cost.
• Strong understanding of relational data modeling (Kimball dimensional methodologies, DAG-based orchestration).
• Experience designing and shipping data products consumed by AI agents, such as text-to-SQL or a semantic layer serving an LLM.
