Lecturer – Business Process & Engineering Management

About the role

The School of Engineering seeks a Lecturer to lead teaching and curriculum development in Business Process and Engineering Management. The role involves facilitating student learning, delivering continuing education, and contributing to research and industry consultancy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning and mentor students in final‑year projects, competitions, and internships.
• Develop and update curricula covering Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain Management across sectors such as manufacturing, services, maritime, healthcare, aerospace and social services.
• Design and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) lessons.
• Participate in academic research, R&D, implementation projects, and industry consultancy.
• Perform administrative duties related to the programme and student development activities.
• Engage with stakeholders including prospective students, teachers, parents, industry partners and other universities.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, IT, Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Relevant experience in large‑scale business operations, systems automation, productivity improvement, resource management, business data analytics, process optimisation and decision analysis.
• Strong industry linkages in related fields.
