Lecturer (Teaching Track) – Public Administration

About the role

The Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at NTU Singapore seeks a Lecturer on the Teaching Track to deliver high‑quality postgraduate education. The role involves teaching courses in English and/or Chinese across areas such as applied economics, public policy, and technology governance, and contributing to the centre’s academic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and assess postgraduate courses in the specified specialisations.
• Develop new curricula and course materials aligned with NCPA’s strategic goals.
• Engage with students through mentorship, seminars, and feedback sessions.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and outreach activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, Management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the tertiary level, preferably in public administration or related subjects.
• Ability to teach in English and/or Chinese at the postgraduate level.
• Interest in designing new courses and providing course synopses.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering lectures and seminars in English.
• Proficiency in delivering lectures and seminars in Chinese (optional).
