Legal Assistant Manager (0-2 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant Manager with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience to join our fast‑growing fintech team. Working closely with the VP Legal and cross‑functional partners, you will help manage legal, regulatory and reputational risk while supporting high‑impact transactions and market‑entry projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs, marketing and partnership deals.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple markets, coordinating with external vendors as needed.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, shareholder filings and corporate filings.
• Support legal operations, contract lifecycle management and template updates.
• Conduct legal research and prepare internal guidance notes or training materials.
• Monitor regulatory developments and produce summaries or impact analyses.
• Liaise with external counsel on specific matters.
• Contribute to special projects such as market entry, licensing, acquisitions, disposals, corporate loans and fundraising transactions.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university and admission to practice in Singapore or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 0‑2 years PQE in private practice or in‑house legal teams; recent graduates with training contracts or relevant internships are welcome.
• Demonstrated interest in fintech, financial services or startup environments.
• Strong contract drafting and legal analytical abilities.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
• Team player with a practical, solution‑oriented mindset and high integrity.
