Legal Associate – Capital Markets & M&A

About the role

We are seeking a Singapore‑qualified Legal Associate to join our Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate transactions, supporting both Singapore and broader ASEAN clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on placements, rights issues, bonus issues, secondary issues and bond issuances.
• Handle corporate disclosure, governance, capital and corporate restructuring, and employee share schemes.
• Assist with acquisitions, divestments, takeovers (hostile, contested, uncontested), reverse takeovers, mergers, amalgamations, schemes of arrangement, delistings, privatisations, de‑mergers and private equity investments.
• Work on transactions across Singapore and the wider ASEAN region, ensuring compliance with listing requirements.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong foundation in corporate and capital markets law.
• Commitment to technical excellence and high‑quality client service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
