Legal Consultant – Corporate & Commercial

About the role

Lawyers On Demand is seeking a Legal Consultant to join a 6‑month full‑time assignment with a leading financial services client in Singapore. The role offers the chance to work on high‑impact corporate and commercial matters and may convert to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including Master Service Agreements, Service Level Agreements, procurement contracts, joint venture documents and M&A documentation.
• Provide commercial legal advice to support the client’s equity capital markets activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on second‑ment assignments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a reputable law firm, in‑house legal department or secondment environment.
• Solid track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Prior exposure to the financial services sector is an advantage.
• Currently residing in Singapore and able to start on short notice.
