Legal Counsel & Corporate Secretariat

About the role

A leading digital infrastructure and data centre operator, with operations across Asia-Pacific and Europe, is recruiting a Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretariat in Singapore. Reporting to senior legal leadership, the role covers commercial, corporate, regulatory and investment matters, with exposure to M&A, commercial contracts and project development. It is a regional legal position supporting a fast-growing data centre platform, with work from home or hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business stakeholders on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters
• Support project development, including construction and procurement-related agreements
• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and strategic commercial contracts
• Take part in corporate transactions such as joint ventures, acquisitions and strategic investments
• Provide guidance on governance, compliance and risk management
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Handle corporate secretarial and entity management activities within the group

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor's degree in Law and strong academic credentials
• Over 8 years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house environment or a mix of both
• Corporate and commercial legal experience, ideally in infrastructure, construction, engineering, technology or related sectors
• Experience reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Exposure to M&A, joint ventures, investments or strategic transactions is advantageous
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
