Legal Counsel – Digital Infrastructure

About the role
The Legal Counsel will join the legal leadership team to provide corporate governance and legal support for the Singapore operations of a multinational group active in digital infrastructure, data centres and subsea cable projects.
Key responsibilities
- Advise senior stakeholders on commercial and strategic matters across the business.
- Support complex M&A transactions and other growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to data‑centre and subsea‑cable projects.
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee legal budgets.
Required profile
- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in commercial legal work.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework for data‑centres and subsea‑cable projects.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience managing external counsel and legal budgets.
