About the role
The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the Housing & Development Board (HDB) on matters related to residential and commercial property. This role involves advising on legislation, handling enforcement and litigation, and drafting tenancy agreements while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on legislation within HDB’s purview and ensure compliance.
- Provide counsel on enforcement, litigation and prosecution cases concerning residential and commercial properties.
- Review and draft tenancy agreements and related contractual documents.
- Attend court applications and hearings, representing HDB’s interests.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on complex projects and provide leadership as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Admission as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in property or real‑estate law.
