About the role
We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join a leading trading firm in Singapore. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will support the firm on commercial, regulatory and operational legal matters.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the General Counsel on day‑to‑day legal issues across the business.
- Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and operational risk.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and policy documents.
- Monitor changes in financial services legislation and advise on implementation.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
Required profile
- Singapore‑qualified lawyer with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
- Full working rights in Singapore.
- Experience in trading firms, hedge funds, asset managers, financial institutions or top law firms serving financial services clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate strong resourcefulness.
