Legal Counsel

About the role

EXEO Global is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its Vice President, Legal & Corporate Secretariat. The role will ensure robust legal processes, mitigate risks, and provide counsel across the Group’s diverse businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the Group’s legal and corporate secretarial activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate business contracts and agreements, providing advice to manage legal and commercial exposures.
• Support corporate secretarial duties, including board meeting preparation, resolutions and regulatory filings.
• Develop and implement best‑practice corporate policies and guidelines.
• Participate in M&A transactions, handling legal due diligence, deal structuring and related compliance tasks.
• Liaise with external counsel and professional service providers as needed.
• Deliver legal training to sales and project teams.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of legal processes.

Required profile

• Law degree with 4‑6 years of relevant experience.
• Admission to the Singapore Bar (or an overseas bar) is essential.
• Knowledge of Singapore law; familiarity with APAC, EMEA or Americas jurisdictions is a plus.
• Experience in corporate governance, complex corporate structures and M&A transactions.
• Strong collaborative, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
