Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will report to the Group General Counsel and provide comprehensive in‑house legal support to the Management, Functions and Business Units across the IHH Group. The role ensures that all commercial activities are conducted in a legally compliant manner while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Support mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, IP/IT contracts and projects.
• Review vendor, service provider and B2B contracts and manage general corporate/commercial transactions.
• Oversee dispute resolution, litigation management and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise between internal stakeholders and external counsel, interpreting advice and controlling legal costs.
• Monitor legal trends, anticipate regulatory changes and advise the business accordingly.
• Provide ad‑hoc legal assistance as directed by Management and the Group General Counsel.

Required profile

• LL.B or higher qualification with 7‑10 years of experience as a legal practitioner in a law firm or in‑house counsel.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, presentation and persuasive abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
