Legal Manager (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Manager on a 6‑month contract to provide expert legal advice and support to a listed entity and its multi‑jurisdictional group across Australia, Japan and the UK. You will work on a variety of corporate matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, private funds and new business initiatives.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including real estate financing, term sheets, leases, hospitality and lodging operational agreements, and development‑related agreements.
• Instruct and manage external counsel on employment, data privacy and intellectual property issues.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by senior management with professionalism.

Required profile

• LLB degree from Singapore or the United Kingdom.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in law firms handling corporate/commercial work.
• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing listed companies and/or M&A is advantageous.
• Independent, proactive, commercially minded and able to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills.
