Legal, Risk & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Legal, Risk & Compliance Manager will join The Kallang Group's Legal department, reporting to the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance. The role supports the team in handling all legal matters related to the operation and growth of The Kallang venue.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on contractual issues with principal subcontractors, including interpretation, drafting approvals, variations, notifications and supplemental agreements.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts covering services, event‑related agreements, venue operations, sponsorship, real‑estate leases and venue terms and conditions.
• Manage disputes, oversee company policies, risk and compliance programmes, and provide guidance on data protection, anti‑bribery, regulatory compliance and insurance.
• Handle corporate secretarial duties such as drafting board resolutions, minutes and other statutory paperwork.
• Support investigations, compliance audits, special expansion projects and maintain legal tools such as the contract management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Singapore law or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 1–4 years of experience as a private practitioner; in‑house experience is a plus.
• Experience in estate, venue or sports management and corporate secretariat work is desirable.
• Ability to deliver commercially focused, solution‑driven advice under tight timelines with minimal supervision.
• Strong team player who can collaborate across legal and business functions.
