Logistics Assistant

About the role

The Logistics Assistant will support daily warehouse operations at Toll Group, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. This role is essential to maintaining smooth supply‑chain flow for a variety of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, load and unload shipments.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and record against delivery orders.
• Perform put‑away, cycle counts and stock‑take activities.
• Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or SAP with goods receipt, issue, bin transfers and adjustments.
• Maintain delivery orders, packing lists and receiving reports.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, use PPE and report unsafe conditions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand pallet jacks and, where certified, forklifts.
• Coordinate with supervisors, operations and inventory teams and escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and support productivity targets.
• Participate in process improvements and operational changes as required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow WSH procedures.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
• Physical ability to lift and move goods and operate warehouse equipment.
• Openness to learn new systems and support continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• SAP transaction handling.
• Operation of hand pallet jack.
• Forklift operation (certified).
