Logistics Officer

About the role

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defence company, is hiring a Logistics Officer in Singapore. The role is onsite and covers receiving, checking and stocking parts, issuing them to jobs, and handling related paperwork.

Key responsibilities

• Check delivery orders to verify received quantities and perform a visual quality check of items.
• Verify that the purchase order exists in SAP and that the correct quantity is recorded.
• Perform a system receipt of parts, generate labels and stock received parts in their designated locations after IQA inspection.
• Pick parts according to the job pick list, ensuring correct quantity, batch number and parts; practice FIFO unless FEFO applies.
• Verify RSN parts and restock them in the correct locations.
• Handle material transactions such as PO receipts, issues to jobs, RSN and other relevant movements.
• Receive customers' repaired components and submit all receiving paperwork to Sales & Marketing.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and strictly follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other delegated tasks such as packing and unpacking shipments, and prepare export documentation so the delivery order matches the packaging.
• Run weekly cycle counts for GASCA stock, take part in ad-hoc projects and follow instructions from the logistics, store or management supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
• Good work attitude and team player.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Forklift licence preferred.

Required skills

• Able to use Microsoft Office software and SAP.
