Machine Learning Platform Engineer (Contract)

About the role

A financial services organisation in Singapore is looking for a Machine Learning Platform Engineer on a temporary basis. The engineer develops and maintains scalable machine learning platforms that support the organisation's technology initiatives, working on advanced solutions in a varied field.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise machine learning platforms to meet business requirements.
• Ensure the scalability, performance and reliability of machine learning systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
• Design and implement workflows for data processing and model deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on platform-related issues.
• Document processes and best practices for the use and maintenance of the platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with data engineering and model deployment in production environments.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Docker for containerisation and working knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestration.

• Monthly salary of SGD 9,000 to 11,000 (SGD 108,000 to 132,000 per year).
