Maintenance Engineer – Facility Services

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of building and industrial systems across its Singapore portfolio. You will lead day‑to‑day facility services, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tenant and building services in line with the Site Service Matrix, managing costs and service levels.
• Coordinate building and manufacturing field services, ensuring compliance with client corporate standards (OIMS/SSH&E/CIMS) and local regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with Business Unit personnel to resolve issues and enhance service satisfaction.
• Deliver maintenance projects for new or modified facilities, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities, reducing costs and increasing quality.
• Lead the SSHE process, ensuring safe execution of all activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day services such as pest control, landscaping, and fire‑alarm system maintenance.
• Ensure corrective work orders, facilities requests, and preventive tasks are recorded and closed in Nuvolo on schedule.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to operational challenges.
• Supervise contractors and vendors to guarantee quality workmanship.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4‑5 years of relevant experience; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Prior shift‑manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Safety, security and controls awareness.
• Budget planning and stewardship capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and shifting priorities.
• Working knowledge of facility‑management technical disciplines and relevant codes.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with facility regulatory requirements and client expectations (OIMS, CIMS).
