Maintenance Mechanic (Elevator & Escalator)

About the role

Otis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join its Singapore service team. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of elevator and escalator units across a defined territory, ensuring passenger safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled maintenance and service visits for elevators and escalators within your assigned area.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and aim for first‑time fixes.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Maintain accurate service records and use digital tools for reporting.
• Interact directly with customers on‑site to build strong relationships.

Required profile

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience in the elevator sector.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles.
• Competence in lift/escalator maintenance (Certificate of Competency is a plus).
• Proficiency with electronic and digital tools for diagnostics and reporting.
