Maintenance Planner

About the role

The Maintenance Planner will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient terminal operations. This role serves as the lead trainer and focal point for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensures plant equipment software remains up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSSE rules, contractor certifications, and CMDB requirements.
• Review and improve yearly maintenance plans, coordinate routine work, and support the TPM program.
• Liaise with procurement, vendors, and contractors to optimise maintenance costs.
• Administer the CMMS, update asset records, manage the asset library, and resolve system issues.
• Prepare maintenance reports, handle license renewals, and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities for the CMMS and related processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner in petrochemical, refinery, process plant, oil & gas, or energy sectors.
• Diploma in Engineering, Petroleum/Chemical Process, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance philosophy and CMMS.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.
