Management Associate – 2‑Year Leadership Programme

About the role

The Management Associate Programme (MAP) at Nanyang Technological University is a selective two‑year leadership gateway designed for ambitious graduates. As a Management Associate you will rotate across key university functions, undertake an external secondment, and receive executive mentorship to build a holistic understanding of organisational management in higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects in two strategic corporate functions such as Finance, IT, Sustainability, Communications or Academic Services.
• Complete a six‑month external secondment with a partner organisation to bring cross‑industry insights back to NTU.
• Engage in one‑on‑one mentorship with senior NTU leaders to observe high‑level decision‑making.
• Participate in overseas learning journeys focused on international best practices.
• Transition into a permanent corporate role aligned with the university’s strategic priorities upon programme completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Entry‑level candidates or those with less than three years of work experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new functional areas and synthesize complex information.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, faculty, researchers and external partners.
• Proactive, “can‑do” attitude with genuine passion for the future of higher education and innovation.
