Manager, Business Office

About the role

The Business Office Manager will support the Head or Senior Manager in leading the daily operations of a community hospital's Business Office. This role ensures that billing, collections, subsidies, and financial counselling processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior leadership in overseeing patient billing, charging, collections, subsidies, financial counselling, and overall revenue processes.
• Guarantee accurate and timely billing, claims processing, account reconciliation, follow‑up of accounts, and ILTC billing operations.
• Drive workflow improvements, digitalisation, internal controls, system enhancements, and CHCS/system implementation initiatives.
• Supervise and guide Business Office staff to maintain smooth daily operations and high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a healthcare Business Office or similar operations.
• Strong understanding of billing, patient charging, subsidies, and ILTC operations.
• Preferred experience with healthcare systems or project implementations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
