Pharmacist – Lead Pharmacy Operations

About the role

Wellaway E-Pharmacy, Singapore’s first HSA‑registered e‑pharmacy, is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to lead daily pharmacy operations. You will supervise a team of technicians and assistants, ensure safe dispensing, and provide medication guidance to prescribers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee processing of prescriptions and medication orders.
• Provide patient counselling and education on medication use.
• Lead, mentor, and guide pharmacy technicians and assistants.
• Review and optimise existing workflows and platform standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor interns as required.
• Handle, pick, and control Controlled Drugs in line with licensing rules.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for Controlled Drugs.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an inquisitive attitude.
• Comfortable leading a team independently.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
