Manager, Community Partnership

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is looking for a Manager, Community Partnership to lead its community-centred work. The role engages the community to collaborate on land transport matters, community-led programmes and other LTA initiatives, and helps explain the rationale behind policies and procedures. It also supports placemaking and improved living environments.

Key responsibilities

• Engage the community through meetings with grassroots organisations, public education programmes and publicity campaigns at community gatherings, and co-organise community events.
• Develop an overall community communications and engagement strategy in partnership with internal divisions.
• Create and manage communication materials for physical and digital platforms, coordinate internal approvals, and track progress and KPIs to ensure effective project delivery.

Required profile

• Preferred background in Engineering, Mass Communications or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in people-related work in a large and dynamic organisation.
• Experience in public education, event management or engaging project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of LTA works, especially road, rail and community infrastructure projects, and experience working with communities and grassroots organisations is an advantage.
• Committed, resourceful and interested in problem-solving; able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
