Manager, Finance Insights

About the role

foodpanda is seeking a proactive Manager, Finance Insights to support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across its Singapore operations. You will partner with business leaders, translate data into actionable insights and help drive cost‑saving initiatives in a fast‑growing food‑delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts for multiple business units.
• Analyse trends and forecast key performance indicators, providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Develop financial models to evaluate ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
• Act as a finance business partner, delivering insights and early warnings on deviations.
• Recommend and drive cost‑saving measures while promoting a culture of efficiency.
• Design and improve internal reporting templates and processes.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial support to the broader finance team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in audit, consulting or a related finance function.
• Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA or ACA are preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver able to work under pressure.
• Team player comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment; start‑up experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Report automation tools such as Google Data Studio and Looker.
