Manager, Global Service Delivery (Procurement Operations)

About the role

Micron's Global Procurement team delivers total cost and supply chain resiliency through predictive capabilities, risk analysis and a focus on sustainability and diversity. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Service Delivery (Procurement Operations), this Manager leads a team providing efficient, compliant and customer-focused procure-to-pay (P2P) operational support across global procurement. The role covers leadership, governance and direction of high-volume procurement operations, and serves as the P2P operations subject matter expert.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the P2P operations team, managing workload, performance, service standards and escalations.
• Oversee tail spend, PR/PO support, PO changes, supplier onboarding, catalog support, receiving issues and invoice reconciliation.
• Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time, backlog, aging items, errors, rework and service quality, and act as escalation point for operational issues.
• Ensure SOPs, escalation paths, training materials and knowledge documentation are consistent.
• Act as P2P operations SME: advise on process flows, controls, approvals, system dependencies and best practices, and support process change workshops.
• Own governance, compliance and audit readiness: support SOX, IATF, customer, process and internal audits, maintain control documentation and partner with Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit and Quality on corrective actions.
• Drive operational excellence: set and manage KPIs and dashboards, analyze data to find bottlenecks, lead improvement initiatives and support hypercare for new processes, sites, countries, suppliers or systems.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI and digital tools, partner with IT and automation teams, and drive adoption of approved tools.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with category teams, business partners, Finance, AP, Receiving, IT, suppliers and leadership, and represent Global Service Delivery in governance forums and audit reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, P2P, shared services, business operations, finance operations or supply chain operations.
• Prior people management experience, preferably leading P2P, procurement operations, transactional procurement, shared services or service delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes and controls.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP, Ariba or other P2P systems.
