Manager (PAssion Wave) - Water Sports Outlet

About the role

PAssion Wave is a waterfront water sports outlet at Bedok Reservoir. The manager runs its day-to-day administration and operations so that it functions smoothly and efficiently, while planning, developing and delivering quality water sports programmes that connect the community through waterfront activities and volunteering opportunities, in partnership with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture partnerships with water sports associations, educational institutions and community partners, and build networks with PA divisions, grassroots organisations and corporate partners
• Co-create water sports programmes with stakeholders and design, implement and evaluate them using performance metrics and KPIs
• Lead water sports events and community activities, and coordinate with vendors and trainers
• Ensure programmes comply with PAssion Wave policies and safety procedures, and oversee outlet administration using performance metrics
• Manage daily facility operations, including equipment maintenance, storage, facility upkeep, bookings and inspections
• Perform safety operations such as launching and driving a powerboat for search and rescue, and launching and recovering participants safely
• Support budget management, financial compliance, procurement and record keeping
• Analyse operational reports and feedback to recommend improvements and maintain service quality

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in water sports management, community engagement and/or programme coordination, with exposure to diverse community stakeholders
• Able to swim at least 50 metres unaided and willing to work on weekends
• Desirable: supervisory experience, and a proactive, analytical and innovative approach with strong communication and presentation skills

• Powered Pleasure Craft Driving Licence
• Lifesaving 1, 2 and 3 certifications
• Knowledge of risk assessment and management
• Social media analytics knowledge (desirable)
