Manager / Senior Manager, Media Relations

About the role

A creative and media-savvy professional is sought to manage end-to-end media projects, from story pitches and media briefings to media monitoring and sentiment analysis. The role suits someone with good knowledge of digital trends and business news, who enjoys building relationships with media and working with cross-functional teams on sustainable development for manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling stories and media pitches that engage the target audience across multiple platforms
• Build close relationships with media and key influencers
• Turn internal stakeholders into key spokespeople, including structured training programmes and performance coaching
• Work in cross-functional teams (brand, content, media, industry clusters) to build integrated content strategies
• Partner with vendors on digital tools for media monitoring, news amplification and sentiment analysis, using analytics to measure impact
• Analyse data to continuously improve communications plans across mainstream and digital channels
• Develop and run crisis communications plans

Required profile

• At least 5-8 years of experience designing and delivering strategic communications plans with high-impact results
• Excellent storytelling and writing skills
• Familiarity with the news and social media environment
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluency in a second language preferred
• Collaborative, confident and approachable, able to bring people together
