Manager, Services Business Development (Acquiring & Processing)

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Manager to drive growth of its Acquiring & Processing business across Asia Pacific. The role blends business development, client engagement and industry expertise to identify opportunities and shape client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject‑matter expert on acquiring, payment acceptance, processing and payment‑infrastructure trends.
• Partner with Business Development and account teams to qualify and advance acquiring & processing opportunities.
• Develop client growth strategies, business cases and solution recommendations aligned with client priorities.
• Engage clients to understand challenges, articulate the value of Mastercard Services, and support proposal development and commercial discussions.
• Collaborate with Consulting, Product, Customer Solutions Center and regional market teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in acquiring, payment processing, merchant payments, fintech or payments consulting.
• Proven client‑facing communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to influence senior client stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and structured‑thinking capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Professional level English proficiency.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment processing and acceptance ecosystems.
• Understanding of payment gateways, processor economics and emerging payment technologies.
