Manager, Student Experience and Development

About the role

NTU PACE is seeking a Manager for Student Experience and Development. The role coordinates and supports activities in collaboration with NTU Offices, Colleges and Schools to strengthen the university's capacity to educate postgraduate certificate (PGC) students. It also streamlines processes and develops services that enrich the experience of the growing self-financed postgraduate population.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies and initiatives that foster student development, engagement, well-being and overall satisfaction.
• Coordinate and improve the efficiency of key processes such as applications, admissions, enrollment, course offerings, internships, attachments, job placements and accommodations.
• Facilitate the expansion of services supporting PGC students' academic and skills development, career and internship preparation, time and stress management, social engagement and mental health and holistic well-being.
• Provide general administrative support to Senior Management (scheduling, correspondence, record-keeping) and manage team communications.
• Liaise with departments and stakeholders to improve the student experience and take part in cross-functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in student life, support and development.
• Experience in counselling and mentoring is an advantage.
• Able to handle stress and passionate about helping students.

Required skills

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with good time management.
• Can-do attitude, able to work fast and independently.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
