Manager, Technology Strategic Planning and Integration

About the role

NHG is looking for a Programme and Project Manager for its Technology Strategic Planning and Integration function, under the Hospital without Walls team. You will drive the digital transformation of the organisation and oversee both programme-level initiatives and individual projects supporting the next phase of the digital strategy (HoW2.0). The role suits a self-motivated person who can handle dynamic work and multi-task, and who communicates well with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Project management: work with the project owner to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery, track progress, outcomes, impact and budgets, prepare approvals and reports, and coordinate with subject matter experts, the Ministry of Health, Synapxe, NHG, vendors and internal groups such as legal, IT, procurement and finance.
• Maintain a knowledge management registry tracking digital innovation efforts and lessons learned to reduce duplication.
• Programme management: report on HoW2.0 progress, outcomes, learnings and budget to the journey thrusts and the Digital Transformation Council, and prepare half-yearly reports to senior management and the grant body.
• Plan and run pre-budget exercises, facilitate project reviews and approvals, and prepare future funding proposals, KPIs and deliverables.
• Evaluate the overall impact of the programme, identify improvements and scale-up opportunities, and manage programme-level risks and dependencies.
• Promote knowledge sharing and a collaborative working environment, and carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Good degree with 7 years of experience in project management, innovation management, business improvement and transformation through technology.
• Healthcare administration or Healthcare IT experience is an advantage.
• Digital project management experience and certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders, build relationships and multi-task.
• Good presentation, verbal, written and listening skills, and good management skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of current IT innovations and trends.
• Advantageous: visualization tools, analytics software, no-code/low-code programming, and program evaluation or research experience.
