Managing Consultant / Team Leader – HR or Sales Recruitment

About the role

We are a Singapore‑headquartered executive search and HR solutions firm expanding across APAC and North America. We seek an experienced Managing Consultant / Team Leader to build and scale a specialty recruitment desk focused on either HR & Corporate Functions or Sales & Marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of recruiters and sourcers to meet revenue and hiring targets.
• Drive productivity, delivery quality and recruitment process excellence.
• Develop and grow strategic client relationships across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert them into retained or contingent recruitment partnerships.
• Personally handle senior or strategic mandates when required.
• Operate the desk with a strong P&L mindset, monitoring revenue, placements and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agency recruitment or executive search.
• Prior experience leading a recruitment team or managing consultants.
• Strong track record in business development and billings.
• Experience recruiting within HR/Corporate Functions or Sales & Marketing domains.
• Fluent English; Mandarin bilingualism highly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
