Managing Director / HO Region and Commercial & Support ASPAC

About the role

Satair is looking for a Managing Director / Head of Office for the region and commercial and support function covering the ASPAC area, based in Singapore. The role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to drive business growth, financial performance and efficiencies in line with corporate goals, while building stakeholder relationships with customers and suppliers. It also acts as the country's legal officer and is a member of the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the official legal officer for the country and serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
• Take part in Global Management team meetings and promote the strategy, vision and mission internally and externally.
• Identify market trends, risks and opportunities and report them to the CEO and executive management.
• Grow regional sales and support according to the sales strategy and ensure profitability.
• Support local management with regional goals and KPIs, take part in annual operating plan discussions and accept agreed targets.
• Build relationships with key customer and supplier executives and managers, and act as an ambassador for Satair's global services.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus legal standards, SOPs and values, and monitor adherence to the global implementation plan.
• Report milestones on time, visit top customers quarterly at senior level, and follow up the global and regional sales plans.
• Coordinate with other Airbus organizations in the region and attend commercial meetings, shows and events.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead a regional organization and coordinate with the global functional team.
• Strong business and financial acumen, leadership and management skills.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.
