Managing Director, Singapore

About the role

A client of Fuku is looking for an execution-oriented, systems-driven management professional to join its founding team in Singapore. The Managing Director takes ownership of overall office operations and plays a key part in delivering financial services business activities such as fund management, foreign exchange and asset management. The role bridges front-end business development, back-end operations, compliance and strategic clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Singapore office and set up efficient internal processes and governance
• Ensure coordination across business, operations, compliance and support functions, and drive continuous process improvement
• Lead cross-functional teams with clear accountability, KPIs and delivery standards, and allocate resources to key projects
• Liaise with back-office teams, custodians, service providers and distribution channels to ensure stable, compliant service delivery
• Help maintain key institutional and high-value client relationships and act as a communication interface between clients and internal teams
• Work closely with the Founder to turn strategy into execution plans and support milestone achievement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; finance, business, management or related background preferred
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; fund management, asset management, foreign exchange or financial services experience strongly preferred
• Proven team leadership and project management experience, handling complex cross-functional work
• Strong bilingual English and Mandarin
• Energetic, pragmatic and results-oriented, with direct, efficient communication and strong ownership
