Market Director – Communities & Networks (Americas)

About the role

The Singapore Global Network (SGN) is seeking a Market Director for the Americas to grow and activate its community of overseas supporters. You will work closely with EDB colleagues, government agencies and local partners to develop and execute market development strategies that enhance Singapore’s global presence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute digital and in‑person initiatives to expand, engage and nurture SGN’s member network across the Americas.
• Design and deliver both one‑to‑one and one‑to‑many engagement programmes.
• Identify market opportunities, analyse regional sentiments and translate insights into actionable strategies aligned with SGN and national priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate and community partners to achieve SGN’s business outcomes.
• Collaborate with other EDB divisions and Singapore government agencies to connect global networks with economic and national goals.

Required profile

• University degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, international relations or community building.
• Relevant overseas work experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in current affairs and knowledge of Singapore’s developments and global trends.
• Proven ability to build and manage networks and partnerships.
