Marketing Assistant Intern

About the role

Telegram Collective is a fast-growing Telegram network in Singapore with over 500,000 subscribers across 15 channels, partnering with clients to deliver tailored content and campaigns. It is seeking a Marketing intern to strengthen its Telegram community, supporting the team and managing community growth through moderation, content creation and engagement. The internship lasts a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Key responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of Telegram marketing, community engagement strategies and audience segmentation.
• Manage and moderate two neighborhood community groups, keeping them positive and welcoming.
• Act as a point of contact for enquiries in the community groups, responding promptly and professionally.
• Expand the Telegram network within the allocated community groups.
• Create and publish engaging content tailored to each group, using local knowledge to spot opportunities.
• Manage the content pipeline so there is a steady flow of deals and news.
• Monitor content performance and share insights to improve engagement, views, shares and follower growth.
• Support content strategy development and ad hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Media or Communications Studies, or equivalent.
• Strong interest in and familiarity with Telegram as a communication and community-building platform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who can manage a strict content calendar independently, with attention to detail and a team-player attitude.
• Residing in or very familiar with the Bedok/Tampines areas is strongly preferred.
• Commitment to a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).
