Marketing Intern

About the role

Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, is looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join its marketing department in Singapore. The intern provides creative ideas to help achieve marketing goals and carries out administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and collateral. The internship takes place in a science-based environment and offers exposure to marketing strategies within a fast-paced, dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing collateral aligned to brand strategies.
• Check clinical data quoted in marketing campaigns to ensure accurate referencing.
• Build standard templates that can be populated for future campaigns and collateral.
• Collaborate with the marketing and cross-functional teams across the stages of marketing campaigns.
• Learn about new product launch planning, including launch meetings, and other communications initiatives such as medical media.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science or life sciences.
• Strong attention to detail and very task-oriented.
• Self-starter with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
