M&E Engineer (Commercial/Office Building)

About the role

The M&E Engineer will oversee the daily operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical building systems in commercial and office properties. You will lead a team of technicians and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliable and compliant building services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise M&E technicians in daily operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, fire protection, BMS, plumbing and sanitary installations.
• Oversee contractors and service providers, monitor works, review reports and ensure safety and compliance.
• Support maintenance contracts, improvement projects, quotations, budgeting and contractor coordination.
• Monitor building systems, utility consumption, address operational issues and tenant requests, and maintain accurate technical records.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of M&E experience in commercial office buildings.
• Familiarity with integrated building M&E systems and facilities operations.
