Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our fab environment in Singapore. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining scrubber machining equipment, ensuring continuous operation and rapid response to alarms or downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on scrubber machining systems.
• Diagnose equipment alarms and provide timely solutions to minimise production loss.
• Support customers on‑site by addressing mechanical issues and offering technical guidance.
• Work in hot environments and be available for after‑hours and midnight standby as required.
• Wear appropriate protective gear, including jumpsuits, while on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Ability to work in a hot, industrial setting.
• Willingness to provide after‑hours support and midnight standby (transport allowance provided).
• Good communication skills; multilingual ability is a plus.
