Medical Device Inspector – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Inspector ensures that medical device components and finished products meet regulatory, company, and operational standards. Working on the production floor, you will perform detailed inspections and functional tests to guarantee product quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of complex components and finished medical devices using a variety of tools.
• Highlight and escalate non‑conformances to the Lead Inspector.
• Perform functional testing with automated and manual valve testing equipment.
• Verify quality records, review Device History Records, and release products for inter‑plant shipment or distribution.
• Control inventory to maintain proper storage conditions and handle movement as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the work area.

Required profile

• Secondary education (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing and quality control.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Compliance with company safety, health, and environmental protocols.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
• Operation of automated and manual valve testing equipment.
• Experience entering data into a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Review of Device History Records.
