Medical Monitor – Singapore/Malaysia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Monitor to join our global Medical Monitoring team, operating from Singapore or Malaysia on a hybrid basis. In this senior‑level position you will act as the medical frontline, collaborating with sponsors, sites, DSMBs and regulatory agencies to ensure patient safety and high‑quality trial delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients, project teams, sites, DSMBs, regulators and vendors on medical matters.
• Provide medical input for clinical development plans, protocols, investigator brochures, CSR reports, manuscripts and scientific presentations.
• Review clinical data to safeguard participant safety and ensure protocol and GCP compliance.
• Manage safety issues arising from sites and study teams.
• Support bid defence meetings and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies with Clinical Operations.
• Chair or contribute to clinical development advisory boards and safety monitoring boards.
• Train and mentor clinical monitors and investigators.
• Review and sign off clinical documents for medical relevance.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor degree (required).
• Board certification in Gastroenterology (preferred).
• Clinical background in Oncology, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Hematology or Internal Medicine is a plus.
• Prior clinical research or CRO experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks and health authority interaction is a strong asset.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
