Medical Officer (NTS)

About the role

The Medical Officer (NTS) will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care in a hospital setting. This role combines direct clinical work with supervision, teaching, and participation in outpatient services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily ward rounds and manage inpatient care.
• Supervise and teach House Officers, fostering clinical competence.
• Assist in running outpatient clinics and support senior doctors during procedures and operations.
• Perform night duties as scheduled by the Head of Department, aligning with hospital operational needs.

Required profile

• Active clinical practice in a hospital environment.
• Basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
• Minimum of 6 years post‑housemanship experience as a Medical Officer or equivalent.

Required skills

• Proficiency in clinical patient management.
• Ability to supervise and teach junior medical staff.
• Competence in assisting with medical procedures and operations under senior supervision.
