Merchandising & Client Development Internship – Singapore & Malaysia

About the role

This six‑month internship provides hands‑on experience in both merchandising and client development across Singapore and Malaysia. You will support commercial performance, help organise retail activations, and assist with client‑focused events.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily merchandising operations, prepare reports and monitor sales performance.
• Analyse sales data using Excel, NEMO and Power BI to spot trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stores and supply‑chain teams to meet sales targets and optimise stock distribution.
• Provide feedback on new product launches and in‑store performance.
• Assist in market analysis and localisation of product strategies.
• Help plan and execute client events, manage vendor logistics and on‑site operations.
• Coordinate deliveries, gift orders and virtual bridge requests for client appointments.
• Maintain client development trackers, calendars and competitor insight reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Experience using NEMO for sales analysis.
