Merchant Business (Product) Intern

About the role

The NETS Group is a payments services group that enables digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the payments value chain, including Singapore's national debit scheme. As a Merchant Business (Product) Intern, you will support the Merchant Business Team in managing and enhancing NETS' suite of products, focusing on product research, analysis and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor and industry research to identify product opportunities, emerging trends and strategic insights
• Analyse customer feedback, usage data and operational metrics to find pain points, trends and areas for improvement
• Turn research findings into clear, actionable insights for product planning and decision-making
• Assist in drafting and maintaining product requirement documents (PRDs) and related product artefacts
• Support the definition of product features, acceptance criteria and end-to-end customer journeys
• Maintain and update operational and product documentation so it stays accurate and aligned across teams
• Take part in brainstorming and working sessions with product, operations and business stakeholders
• Contribute ideas for process, workflow and product improvements and provide research and documentation support across initiatives

Required profile

• Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Business, Technology or another relevant field
• Able to commit full-time for a minimum of 24 weeks, any time between May and December
• Strong analytical and research skills, able to synthesise insights from data and qualitative inputs
• Good written communication skills and attention to detail
