MTS - RRAM Product Engineer

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for an experienced Product Engineer to lead the development and optimization of next-generation Resistive RAM (ReRAM) products. The role focuses on improving product yield, reducing bit error rates (BER) and optimizing test programs so that advanced non-volatile memory technologies perform well and are easy to manufacture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run yield improvement strategies by analyzing test data and finding the root causes of failures in ReRAM products.
• Lead initiatives to reduce Bit Error Rate (BER) through analysis and solution implementation.
• Optimize test programs to improve coverage, quality and cost-efficiency.
• Work with Design, Process and Test teams to resolve issues and drive product improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and support from new product introduction through high-volume manufacturing.
• Ensure product engineering excellence across all development and production phases.
• Follow safety, environmental, health and security requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field.
• At least 8 years in semiconductor product engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) product development and mass production.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Standard office and lab environment, with occasional cleanroom work.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct product engineering experience with Resistive RAM (ReRAM).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
