Non-Tech Project Manager (Supplier Excursion Response Team)

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring a Non-Tech Project Manager in Singapore. The role is a project manager for the On Site Technical Reps (OSTR) and extends the Supplier Excursion Response Team (SERT), taking on other duties associated with SERT. It is a full-time position with travel of about 10% of the time and relocation eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Define project and program objectives for each area of responsibility and complete preliminary activities such as outcome determination, milestones, viability studies and resource planning.
• Ensure projects and programs are completed according to requirements, including product/process specifications, costs, resource use and timeliness.
• Document all phases of project, program and process development and report, disseminate or transfer the required information to other functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on engineering/lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
• Use material and financial resources effectively.
• Receive assignments as objectives with goals and processes, recommend improvements to program performance and compliance, and prepare management reviews to measure objectives.
• Provide direction to OSTR employees and administer company policies affecting them.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
• Interact with others, present technical information on projects and schedules, and comply with Applied Materials' global Standards of Business Conduct.
