Operations Assistant – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Operations Assistant will support the daily operational activities of Ichor Systems, a fast‑paced semiconductor manufacturer. Working across production, logistics and administration, you will help maintain efficient workflows and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating production schedules and monitor workflow progress.
• Track inventory levels, material usage and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate operational records, production reports and quality documentation.
• Prepare reports, presentations and meeting materials; handle correspondence and inquiries.
• Enter data accurately into ERP, MES and WMS systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving and logistics for materials and finished products.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Support planning and execution of operational improvement initiatives.
• Act as a point of contact for operational inquiries and facilitate communication between manufacturing, engineering and quality teams.

Required profile

• Professional Certificate / NITEC or Diploma in Business Administration, Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of administrative or operations support experience, preferably in semiconductor or fast‑moving manufacturing environments.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
